I know, I know!

She's six and, following from a (now cleared up) tooth infection, has stopped eating.

We've been to the vet's several times and we are currently forcefeeding her 'recovery' mix, antacid, fibreplex plus prebiotic. The bill is eyewatering.

Been to the vet this morning who said that her stomach is nice and full, but she really needs to poo.

DH said, 'Can't we just give her a proper laxative?'

So, can I ?

I wouldn't, I'd make sure she has plenty of water though.
I did have to give my constipated cat Lactulose once, so I'm surprised he didn't suggest that if it's a real problem.
