Dog with itchy feet

Hi,

I took my dog to the vet yesterday as he has suddenly started licking his feet and driving me mad!

The vet gave him a steroid jab and also some prednisolone tablets which I started giving him this morning.

Has anyone any idea how long it takes for the medicine to kick in, as 24 hours later he is still licking his feet?

I'd give the vet a call to check this is a normal reaction and how long it will last.

Give them a ring. This sort of thing can be hard to treat, and can also become a habit.
