This morning... laid neatly in my birkenstocks
were
1 shrew
2 voles
2 mice
1 rat
and
a house sparrow!!!!!!!

I think the in your birkenstocks adds a whole new level to it.

Our current record is 9 mice in one day, carefully placed at each entrance to the house.

she has got a bit of a thing about my feet weirdly, she's always licking them.
This is new though, she normally stacks them in her food bowl

Our new cat licks feet. My mums cat goes totally nuts licking hers when she has been swimming which is a bit odd.

Cat2 does eat what she catches. Sometimes. She only ever eats the front half of a rabbit though

CMOT Your Mums cat will be able to smell the chlorine from your mum. There's something in chlorine/bleach that cats really love. I had to stop using bleach based products for cleaning as i would often find the cats licking the floor/kitchen units after using them!!!
