Do all unneutered tom cats spray?

I thought this was a consistent problem that you could not train them out of. Am I right?
That other thread made me wonder.

My tom has never sprayed. i have 2 and 1 is neutered the other is due in next week where he will probably get a bit of a shock lol

Is your unneutered full-grown, starshaker?
I just couldn't get how anyone could live with a fulltime indoors unneutered tom, unless they really don't spray that much. I thought it was inevitable, especially if they're are other unneutered/unspayed cats about.

hes about a year now (spraying tends to start at 6 months) The other thing is if you have a tom that sprays neutering him may not stop him as it will have become a habit
