Our builders shut all our doors on friday when they were doing some major drilling. This was really good of them.
But we had gone away that afternoon and did not return until last night. And they had locked a cat in the front room and a cat in the bedroom. (they had plenty of food and water in the kitchen, and their catflap as they are quite outdoorsy so don't normally need someone coming for them for a weekend trip away).
One of our cats pee'd and poo'd in a little area of the bedroom, easy to locate as it was a typical place for a desperate cat to go, discreet and warm!
But the other cat, in the front room, does not appear to have taken a poo, despite a lot of looking. We think he might have urinated in the plant pots, although we are not certain as there is nothing wet around (but some mud scraped away from one of the pots).
I am just wondering whether it is likely that he would have gone for 2.5 days without a poo, and possibly without a wee either?
And, is it right of me to think that cats are hygienic and therefore will only go in one place, if possible (ie, the cat in the bedroom while just have used that one spot?)
