Eeeeeeeeeewwwwwww!!!!! WHY do cats drink bathwater?????????

Why????

It has soap and bubble bath and human skin cell debris in it. It can't taste good!!!!

But every cat I've had does this.

Or they get in the shower once I'm out and lap water from the shower floor. My creamsicle tabby can't wait for me to get out so he can do this.

BUT - if the water in his dish has been standing for longer than half a day he sits in front of it and won't drink, with the [impatiently tapping his fingers emoticon} over his head!!

You're lucky it's the cat - my DD drinks hers

My old cat used to drink the water from the fish tank too. I love cats.

my dog drinks out the bath, when i am in it!
dont think i should admit that ! i do send him straight out as he is not supposed to be upstairs! but then i only realise he is in there when i feel a tongue on my elbow!!

My dog has drank out of the toilet, which had wee in it at the time.
