My 9 week old kittens were microchipped and had first vacs at teatime yesterday. They have n't eaten much since and are not very playful. Is this normal?

Sometimes they can be a little quiet after but it's very unusual to get a serious reaction.

Warm wweather can have a similar effect.

Call your vet if you are worried - they will be more than happy to talk to you about it.

My cat had a very bad reaction to her first injections (shaking and unable to stand in the end I lay her on icepacks covered in tea towels and took her back to the vet)

Being off food and slightly subdued would think they should be ok but speak to vet if worried

[goes all gooey at thought of 9 week old kittens]

Reaction happened within a couple of hours BTW

Thank you. I phoned the vet nurse and if they are not improved by the morning have to take them back in
