Nope, I have one ds. The one with the longest hair is ds

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/05/2009 10:49

oops

so such long hair

OP posts:
KingCanuteIAm · 31/05/2009 10:50

It is longer than that now, about to his waist, although it does need trimming.

His hair is his fav thing, he will not cut it for anything or anyone!

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/05/2009 10:56

wow - would like to get my hair that long

OP posts:
KingCanuteIAm · 31/05/2009 11:08

He has been growing it since he was 5 and we had a converstaion about freedom to choose, so about 4 years now .

Before that he refused to go to any hairdresser, screamed and shouted etc (when he was little) so I used to just do his hair with clippers. When he got older he asked me not to any more so we had a chat about responsiblity and the need to care for long hair properly - go to a hairdresser to have it cut etc. He agreed that was fine and has been growing it ever since. Needless to say, he has never been to a hairdresser but he does allow me to trim it. On the plus side he washes and dries it himself so it is not all bad

OP posts:
KingCanuteIAm · 02/06/2009 07:56

That is a fab picture!

She is plenty pretty enough for him isn't she? A rather handsome couple!

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/06/2009 09:48

indeed they are

puppy loves mabel (dane) and follows her everywhere

gp's are also doing car traning every night and said she had firm words with her son (db) that he should sort out the fear of the car and it wasnt fair on me to cope with a dog who was that big with a fear and 3 children - go granny

KingCanuteIAm · 02/06/2009 10:06

Fab Granny!

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/06/2009 10:19

indeed she is

last night she got as far as front paws on car using a kind of lead with strap over nose so dog had to go where she went (she uses them with her horses and how she trained mabrl to get into car)

puppy got lots of treats

hoping for back paws in car tonight
