he's cute and knows it. Apart from a fondness for wires and wallpaper he is doing ok. BUT the main problem is he keeps weeing and pooing in one room where i work.Looks really bad if we have customers in.
Have tried litter tray with poo in and urine soaked paper. a dish of food to entice him. Have scrubbed carpets with all sorts of things after checking various websites on rabbit behaviour. Still nothing has worked.
Really getting very fedup as can't pratically keep door shut. Tried stair gate and kept falling over it. He has his own cage in bedroom upstairs and has run of the house for part of the day.

can anyone suggest any retraining etc or he may shortly end up in casserole

While he isn't reliably house-trained, you may need to limit him to an indoor enclosure of some kind to keep the mess to one area; what about a metal playpen with some sort of covering on top to stop him jumping out? When the weather is good you could move it outside for part of the day. If you do this check for burrowing signs if on grass.

Has he been neutered? If not, he may be scent marking what he sees as his territory. Your vet should be able to tell you if it will help to have him neutered.

You could buy some treats specifically for rabbits, when you lift him onto the tray, treat. If he's enclosed in the playpen, with the tray as well, he will have to encounter it sometime! If he gets on it himself treat him, and if he does anything. I hope he will get the idea! Rabbits do favour a particular spot as a toilet area, but sometimes can leave droppings elsewhere.

Hope this helps!
