she is nearly 2 and a small petite cute little thing... until she farts or craps!!!

its really bad. i know cat crap doesn;t smell nice as it is, but hers is terrible. my other cat who recently died was never like this!

you can always smell her before you can see her. she was eating tiny amounts of wet food and normal amount of dry food but a few days ago i stopped the wet food as it was getting so expensive and was wasting so much as she hardly ate any of it. so now she's just on Go-cat complete which she eats the daily recommended amount and drinks lots of fresh water too.

but if anything, the crap she had this morning was the worst of all and i had to actually hold my breath to sort it out.

she's not very clean either. she does cover it when she's gone but she ends up walking shit all over the kitchen

oh the bloody thing!!! what can i do to make her smell less??

Do you give her milk?

They are lactose intolerant (but I expect you know that already!)

Maybe she needs more wet than dry, but change the brand?

My cat is an indoor cat and she has James Wellbeloved dry biscuits that are left down all day, and felix fish selection pouches, with plenty of fresh water. I sometimes give my cat Go-Cat indoors complete, and that tends to make poo honk a bit.

And NO titbits!!

Maybe it's worth phoning the vet for advice as she may be intolerant to something in her diet.

It may be a case of trial & error to different foods.

It's Whiskas that makes my cats' poo stinkier than normal. I do allow them to have the occasional pouch though as they like it.

One cat is smellier than the other, for some reason.

I agree with LO about trial and error. A friend of mine found her cats were better with more wet food and less dry.

I think wet food is important in a cats diet.

Maybe increase the wet, decrease the dry.

And try growing some cat grass, my cat jumps hoops for it!

Royal Canin do some great foods, some designed for smellier cats!

Their indoor cat bics make the urine & poo smell less, gloss the coat up etc, but unfortunately my cat doesn't like it

i gave her half a pouch this morning and she's eaten half of what i gave her.
i did get a trial of the garden greens go cat indoor cat food which she liked so might get that to try her on.

think il just try various brands then to see if they have different effects (hopefully the cheapest will be the best!!)

il also start giving her regular wet food again then too even if it is just a little bit. il have to keep a poo chart!!

Poo chart sounds good!
