I've emailed my friend who breeds Border terriers. She's actually in Grantham but I'm sure she has contacts down that way. She works nights though so may not get a reply until later .

Have you looked at the Kennel Club website. You can find breeders of Border Terriers on there by area. If you spoke to some of them I'm sure they could tell you about temprement or put you in touch with someone does breed for this.
