Yes, but only because he can't get back in again

Poor bugger

Hassled · 07/05/2009 14:10

Mine seem to be on a Mission From God to kill every rodent in the neighbourhood - even the soft dippy nice one had a mouse in his mouth earlier. The cat flap is permanently locked - otherwise they bring them in and "lose" them.

It doesn't bode well for the imminent arrival of DS3's birthday hamster.

Miaaaaaaaaaow

let me in

OrmIrian · 07/05/2009 14:17

Yes.

But she always has been like that since she had her jabs and was allowed out. She is now 'done' so I am happier to leave her to her own devices.

NorbertDentressangle · 07/05/2009 14:24

Mine goes out a bit if I crowbar her gently encourage her out of the door.

Two minutes later she wants to come back in though.

(No cat flap as DP made a rather beautiful front door that he won't put a cat flap in and all the other doors are huge glass panels)

notnowbernard · 07/05/2009 14:27

Don't pity him too much, though

He's learned how to 'paw' the bedroom window from outside as well. Looks like he's on a hamster wheel

It's a very effective way of waking us up at dawn

BernardsCat · 07/05/2009 15:10

mine does that to the neighbours haster, who he can see through their window, must freak out ol hammy

ClaireDeLoon · 07/05/2009 23:02

Two of mine are and whine like a bloody dog if I decide to close the patio doors. But it is lovely to see them play fighting and chasing each other in the garden, happy little buggers they are.

Hassled - yours are doing the rodents mine are doing the starlings. Collars with bells or beeps get discarded swiftly.
