Sounds like a great start to a joke my 7yr old might tell...!

Thet eat all the jelly stuff the frog spawn was in first, then we start feeding them.

Don't know what they would eat naturally but we take most of our frog spawn out of the pond as the fish eat it and the dragon fly nymphs devour it.

Yes I remember my brother feeding his bacon thirty years ago - I thought it was animal cruelty!

We've been feeding them goldfish food but once they start to grow legs they turn into carnivores so will eat each other ... or you could give them bits of mince

Aha that would explain the bacon. Didn't know that!

My neighbour threw in a bit of bacon and they flew over and savaged it like pyranas. Was quite unpleasant to watch.

Oh no. Raw. I don't know whether they're meant to have it, but I know people do give it to them. They eat each other anyway.

Ive also heard of mince being used!

I put some bacon in there yesterday and they are nibbling at it but I just think it's going to turn the water rank!
