CATS - what is the point?

I really can't understand it - MIL has about 4. I really dislike them with their revolting tails and showing their bums all over the place, scratching and snootily walking around..... i don't get 'em...now dogs i do get

i hate cats, everyone that i know that owns a cat has a smelly house covered in cat hair. every cat owner i know also allows their creatures to jump on to/walk on their kitchen work surface. its disgusting.

I have a cat, and she has been with me for longer than both my husbands put together

However, there is no point. I will miss her when she is deaded but the whole is allergic to her and she hates all other humans apart from me, and rips them to pieces.

some of my friends are on the unhygenic side, i agree but one of them in particular is very clean and house proud, her house still smells of cats.

I was NEVER a cat person, then one day I saw my lil til and all that was history. However I really don't get the 'cat gift crap' i.e. cat calander, cat tea towel etc. I like MY cat thats it!

I'm with the OP... cats are classic psychopaths. The fit the diagnostic criteria. There is no getting away from this fact.
