cat pulling silacone off window

Just had new windows put in 3 weeks ago but the cat is pulling all the silacone off from round them. Does anyone know how i can stop her?

I heard they hate the feel of anything sticky on their paws, could you put some double-sided sticky tape on the windowsill to discourage her? Friend does this + it seems to work.
