The Perils of Dog Ownership

When in a shop with your small dog, DO NOT tell your dog to sit down while using your pet name for her. The spotty yoof behind the cashiers desk will not see your dog and will give you a funny look for calling him "Sweetie"

Ruby
I am in Switzerland, we can take dogs pretty much everywhere, even in cafés and restaurants. The only place that they are frowned on is in supermarkets, and even then they often just ask you to carry them (which I find more unhygenic than them walking around the shop, tbh)

I am in Herts and there is a pet shop near us (Partners) and they let you take your dogs in.

They all line up at the "pick n mix" section

Dogs are often welcome in small bookshops!

I always tell the dog to sit when we're waiting to cross the road.

even when I've only got dds with me and the dog's been left at home.

MmeLindt · 15/03/2009 14:33

Hatwoman
Do your DC sit down then?

LOL at the pick'n'mix

dds never do anything I tell them to do. certainly not when I think they're my dog.
