How can I stop my dog digging?

We've only had her since Nov and the past couple of weeks she's started digging like mad in the garden. At first it was just below the conifer hedge and in the boarders so not to bad but today she's dug a massive hole in the middle of the lawn. DH is going to go seriously nuts when he sees it, he was mad enough about the other holes and was saying she had to go.

I promised him I'd sort this out!

Hi stripey You can buy this blue gel pellet substance that makes them stop going on places or there are sprays that you can get to stop them.

I had a retriever that dug alot, he did eventually stop

Hope that helps

You need to be watching your dog every time it goes somewhere where she dig. Don't leave it unsupervised in the garden until she has learned.

Every time she starts to dig, give a sharp 'AH AH' noise and she should soon get the message.
