Remember how I wanted a puppy and Dh didn't?

He relented in the end, but, vowed he would have nothing to do with the puppy.

Puppy has now been in the house approimately 90mins and has spent at least an hour of that time on DH's lap, while he was googling 'cool toys' he has seen that we could buy her

We got our puppy 3 weeks ago - apparently he was especially for me and ds and we had to promise to take on all responsibility.

DH has been at the pet shop about a dozen times and pup has every possible toy you can imagine, as well as his own container for his treats which has pride of place beside the biscuit tin.

Pup had first walk after his injection on Monday and dh insisted we all had to go as a family, complete with wellies and stopped to talk to everyone we passed about how handsome pup is, how quickly he's been house-trained, etc, etc. Talk about pfb's

What kind of dog is she?

SheSellsSeashellsByTheSeashore · 07/03/2009 00:28

Aww bless. My dh had staffies (among others) as a child.

Is it your nephew who is poorly (think I remember your name from a thread I posted on recently).

If so, a new puppy will be good for your dc's. Someone else for them to cuddle when they're sad.

lol, shesellsetc.! My dad was like that with cats - never wanted one, bad for garden/furniture etc. I got one for Mum when I left home (to replace me, she liked that idea) and Dad was completely smitten!

Yes sb6699. That was me

That was my thoughts too. Something good for us to focus on for once.

Oh dear! DD1 is scared of the new puppy who is desperate to play with her!

She is worried she wil nip her toes! I might bring dd2 down. She will play. She squealed with delight and started dong her 'excited dance' when she saw the puppy last night.
