bella29 · 06/03/2009 12:24

I know. You'll notice I'm watching the agility though

Can barely contain my excitement for the Police Dog display - although that has mysteriously disappeared from my schedule.

Wine gums anyone?

Once accompanied a boyfriend to a big football match (very very reluctantly) and was delighted to see all the Police Dogs.

Are we talking about dogs, or policemen here? or both?

bella29 · 06/03/2009 12:57

Off to get myself arrested, girls!

Wish me luck

Bella My DH is an Everton supporter, I went to a few matches in London where you could stroke the police horses, give them polos etc.

Went up to Liverpool to watch a home match and we were lining up in twos [roll] with much uniformed assistance. When I got level with the horse I stepped out of line up to the horse to ask to stroke it and found the end of a long baton level with my chest! Was in no certain terms told to get back in line!

It was the only good bit about going.

I used to love going to the British Transport Police open day to see all the dogs (t'was for my job honest).

Divvy · 06/03/2009 13:16

I feel the same about motorbikes and leather, even better if its a policeman though

bella29 · 06/03/2009 13:18

lol Marmaduke

We visit local police open days too - I hang around the dogs as long as I possibly can before being moved on, albeit not with a baton just yet!
