Just thinking about the weird extra senses our pets sometimes have.

For instance, I used to have a totally deaf dog (deaf from birth) and he would go to the window and get very excited a good 5 or 10 minutes before dh's car came home.....

Your turn!

hmmm, well my cats had me freaked out this week, but I'm not sure they were being extra sensory.

I was lying in bed - v. high temp. Woke up and all 3 cats were sat on their haunches on the bed staring at me. (including one who never comes on the bed)

I could imagine this conversation
Cat 1: 'do you think shes alright?'
Cat 2: 'I dunno, how are we going to get food?'

Then I went into a volley of coughing. All 3 pairs of ears went flat.

Bad Cat jumped off the bed with what I imagine 'Its alright, if she dies we can always eat her.'

Imagine my consternation when the next morning when I woke up, still feverish there was my neighbours cat sat on the bed staring at me. I think my cats had been spreading rumours about my potential demise!
