hamsters

My Daughter (aged 10)would really like to get a hamster.

I know that you can get them in pets shops but I don't really feel happy about buying from a pet shop as you never know the pets history etc.

Am i being silly?

Where else do you get them from as I have only ever seen them in pet shops.

it wont bring back hammy but i would complain to the manufactur

DS1 just asked me if I hadn't bought that toy would the hamster still be alive.

I have emailed them as I would hate for someone else to lose their pet.

at 18mth he was nearing his life span

think of it that way

He came up to me at the vets and I was actually able to stroke him for the first time without him biting me. Ironic really.

God help me when my cat dies.
