kitten season usually starts about April time.

Most pet rescue centres will not let you have a young kitten as you can't have children younger than 5 in the house.

My youngest is nearly 5 (will be in April) but RSPCA still won't let us have a little kitten even though we have successfully rehomed a cat from them.

Madness

Can you ensure your cats won't come and shit in my garden where my baby daughter will crawl through the faeces and need to be cleaned up before she puts her hands in her mouth?

Thought not.

Not keen on cats since having kids. Sorry.

Hi. We got a rescue kitten (6 months) from a local charity (in Bristol). Our children are under 6, and she has settled in really well. They did a home visit (basically checked the road) and we got the kitten a few days later. She is very sweet, has settled in really well, and the DS's are more scared of her than she is of them!
