Off to go an get our new puppy!

Bit of a shock as only finally decided last night! It's a 14 week old black male lab - a few friends have had dogs from teh same breeder and all are fine. One friend has a sister to ours.

Very excited and nervous. Have never had a dog.

Need to decide name too. DS wants to call it Theo, DH suggests Fraser and I like Murphy.

Will be on here for lots of help later I am sure!

Ohhhh Murphy is good . We have a black lab cross he is lovely but very greedy .

Ohh have fun. We got a goldendoodle on Monday, we called him Max and he's 12 weeks old. He is adorable. He will probably look like and be the size of a polar bear when he's full grown.

We got him because we were all so upset when our dear old cat was put to sleep last week - we needed a distraction and promised ourselves a dog when the cat was no more.

We don't regret it yet - and he's more housetrained than more 4 yr old in every respect

Well we're back. He threw up in the car on the way back, DH got him out and he pooed on the garage floor - joy.

Poor thing is obv scared and won't come near us. DH trying to get him out of the garage but he won't come.

How is he now Buda?

Our dog was really scared when he first came to us he spent a couple of hours standing in one part of the room shaking and weeing .

We just put him a drink and some soft toys down and he soon came round ,we did have a rough night the first night though ,he ended up in bed with us .

Just started a new thread CWWM. He is terrified, poor little mite.

He is hiding under my car in the garage. Trying to figure a way to get him out.

ahhh, I bet he is gorgeouse. Wonder if you can tempt him with some treats?
Hope he soon settles down.

I would love another dog, but we are still coming to terms with out dog being put to sleep after 13 years with us.
maybey one day we will be ready.

I am balancing my laptop on the edge of the chair, thats my excuse anyway!
