my dog isn't eating well

i have a basset he's 4 month 10 days a go a ran out of dog dry food so i fed him at night some home made food. the second morning he did eat as he use to do and at noon he threw up what he ate the last day and since then he's not eating well when i offer him food he eats like the quarter of the quantity and leave the rest, he threw up 2 too since then. i offered him human food last night he ate it but today he wouldn't eat even the human man until i fed him myself dont know whats wrong. any advice?

Vets - I dont know what you gave him but until they're 12 months they're meant to have a specific diet (kinda like babies not to eat solids before 6 months old) you need to go to a vet and check its not affected him.

yeh but you say you ran out and gave him homemade stuff. That's the bit i'm worried about and the fact that he doesn't want to eat FROM that point.

If you dont want to take him to vets just give them a ring a run it by them but i'm pretty sure they should only be having specific puppy food.
