They've arrived!

My little ratties. 3 female dumbo rats. They are totally gorgeous. Tiny little things with big round ears . One if silver and white, one is fawn and white, one is brown and white.

Not nervous of me at all. Just curious, lively and perfect.

Fantastic! I didn't know you'd decided to get some more. Are they friendly? My 3 boys are great fun - one is cuddly, one is very bossy and only comes out on his terms and the other one is very curious and likes exploring.

No names yet ikiboo. DCs have yet to see them when they get back from school. But we've just seen Madagascar II so I leave you to guess the likely theme...

haggis - I was fairly 'decided' as soon as I lost my girls . But I had to convince DH. Took me a while to find some though - didn't want pet shop rats and no breeders had any available. These are rescue rats.

Can't connect our camera to the laptop sadly. Have to wait for DH to come home and use his phone.

We've just got 2 Roborovski hamsters (teeniest of all the dwarf hamsters) cos DS's pet Marley Mouse died.
He has named them Crackers & Pickles but misheard 'dwarf' hamsters and now thinks he has got 2 'war' hamsters

We have 3 dumbo's, Stripe, Tink and Bell. And one Hoodie Barney (he had a partner called Homer but he died). They are great little pets.

Right they have now been named. Sparkle (Ds#2), Boris (DS#1) and Renee. I did point out to DS#1 that they are all female but he reckoned that they wouldn't care. I think he's right.

They are so adorable. Sorry to be a tedious sentimental bore but they are. They have no fear and they scramble up the insides of the cage to get as near as possible to whoever comes into the room. Keep expecting them to wag their tails

Lola (cat) sits on top of the cage drooling watching. And they get as near her as they can and sniff. I thought there were supposed to be freaked out by cats. She usually loses her nerve and scoots off.

i will add some photos when I can get hold of DH's phone.
