GP seems hot

Hi

We've got three femail gps that live indoors.

All three had mange which has been successfully treated by the vet. However, one gp took longer to get over it and lost quite a bit of hair.

I've noticed today that the skin under the areas where the hair is growing back seems quite warm and so do her ears and tummy in comparison to the other piggies.

She is fine in herself and is eating etc

Any advice/ideas?

Thanks

S

I came on this thread`thinking you fancied your doctor!!

I think as long as she is still eating and seems well then I would assume she is fine.
Keep a close eye on her and take her back to the vets if you notice a change in her.

The fact that they are kept inside is better, especially with this weather. Hopefully its just because her fur is growing back.

I would have thought the pig is ok. If she weren't eating/drinking and acting normally I'd be concerned but I would think she just feels warm to the touch because you're touching furless patches whereas its probably not that noticeable with fur. If she goes off her food or simply doesn't want to do a lot and appears lethargic I'd take her to get checked by the vet.

Rofl laughing, here was me prepared to say I have a hot young doctor too!

whispywhisp · 02/01/2009 15:27

My GP looks like something out of the Wombles.

I used to have a crush on my oral hygienist.

ROFL at this thread.

Poor Silver73. I suspect these weren't quite the replies you were expecting...

When I saw the first two posts I was really confused and then found it very funny.

Little piggie is fine today....

That's great news, Silver.

My GP isn't very good looking either

McDreamyingofawhiteXmas · 02/01/2009 18:56

Not just me that thought this should be in health either then

SeanBeansBitOnTheSideBella · 02/01/2009 18:59

IME, sexy GPs are much overrated. I had a really gorgeous one once but I was always too tongue tied and embarrassed to ask him anything.

All docs should pass an ugliness test when they do their finals. It's only fair

FairLadyRantALot · 02/01/2009 18:59

it's a guinnepig you talking about....isn't it....I was wondering what a thread with this title was doing in pets

whispywhisp · 02/01/2009 19:33

One of the GPs at the practice I use has the most appalling bad breath, dandruff and I'm sure he doesn't wash. The one I use is the one that reminds me of Uncle Bulgaria.
