We have Boris & Barney

Love Sprout!

frostyfingers · 22/12/2008 11:23

I'd call him Sprout - brilliant suggestion. Ours is called Mouse.....

No not Sprout. A sprout is a small cabbage nobody likes!!!!

Call him Jack ( Jack Frost ).

or spud - to remind you of all those lovely crispy roast potatoes....

Rudolph?
my favourite kitten's name was Sid - the kitten was a feral one and hissed every time anyone went near him, so Hissing Sid was his name!

We got two ginger kittens yesterday. They are called Oscar and Bess pending our visit to the vet tomorrow when Bess may or may not emerge as Orlando. How DO you tell which are boy bits and which are girl bits? They look the same to me.

thumbElf · 22/12/2008 23:53

that happened with my first guineapig, LGP - mind you, I shoudl have known not to trust the shoplady when i bought Humphrey, as she was both cross-eyed and smelt strongly of drink (honest!) so it really was hit and miss whether she was right or not - and she wasn't! Poor Humphrey - not an easy name to feminise either.

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 23/12/2008 17:25

Bess is definitely Orlando says the vet. DH is gutted .
What did you call the GP - Humphreyetta?

thumbElf · 23/12/2008 22:05

no, had to continue with Humphrey (tbh, and don't be sad for asking, (s)he died of septicaemia only a few days after I found out that the gender was wrong - (s)he was in the Cambridge Cavy Trust "hospital" at the time - Gutted I was, but it's a long while and 6 piggies ago)

LGP If I had seen this earlier I would hve said she is likely to be a he as ginger girl cats are relly quite rare!
