12 week old puppy - could she have worms?

She had a worming treatment at 10 weeks from vet (when we got her).

She has just been out for a poo and afterwards she looked as if she was straining to go again but nothing was coming out. She then dragged her bum along the ground. She repeated this a couple of times.

Any ideas?

Normally pulling bum on the ground is worms but if she's just had her tablet them not too sure I'm afraid.

She seems ok now, is off back to sleep. She did not eat all day, until 5pm.

God, this puppy lark is worse than having another baby. I should have remembered the frustration of not knowing what is wrong with the baby when they cannot tell you themselves.

Try calling the vets and just ask for their opinion.

Dragging their bottom might mean blocked anal glands.

If she keeps doing it, see your vet. Hope she's eating better tomorrow.

She polished off her breakfast today.

No sign of any other problems, maybe she just had an itchy bum
