Are real Christmas trees dangerous to Cats..?

I heard that it was the most common way for pets to injure their eyes, although i think it was referring to dogs.
any thoughts.?

Considering the fact that most cats spend lots of time outside climbing trees I don't think it should concern you that much.

Just make sure it is tied somehow so can't be pulled over by climbing cats! lol
