Thanks fot that link. Both my old ponies (38 and 25) have passports. Like you I hate to see animals eing transported long distances with no food, water or rest, especially horses who get stressed very easily. YOu are never going to stop people eating them, but conditions must be improved for them so they don't face these journeys. Saddest of all (for us mums) are the pregnant mares - apparently pregnant mares taste sweeter
Anyway I am delighted to report the gelding I love was saved, but there is a never ending list of animals. For anyone intrested here is the link - if I've done it right.
