Am getting seriously pee'd off with DH's cat.

It keeps getting in the moses basket (baby not here yet), keeps running in her room, DH is supposed to sort all the food / litter side of things as it was him that really, really wanted it!! But he just leaves litter everywhere ...

the cat poops in the house!! near the backdoor when it has a litter tray AND the open window in the room next door.

Worst of all yesterday it SHIT ON MY HOSPITAL BAG!!

RUNNY POOP ALL OVER MY LOVELY full HOSPITAL BAG

AFAKCR you are meant to be really careful when you are pregnant around cats and certainly not deal with litter trays etc. Therefore it must be entirely up to your dh on health and safety grounds that he deals with ALL of the consequences of getting the kitten

He does though, I don't really bother with it.

I don't feed it, change the littler or anything but when it pooped on my bag... Grrrrr!

oculd you not just put all your maternity stuff in the room with the moses basket and keep the door closed at all times?

I'll have it if you don't want it...

My DP's getting very teed off with my cats - says one of them is too attached to me and won't let us sleep by mewing outside our door and sneaking into bed with me when he's not around.

Perhaps you'd like to swap partners?

But seriously, how young is the kitten? It may be feeling stressed, particularly sensing the tension if your own kitten is due soon. It will calm down once it feels more settled. In the meantime, try keeping all the baby stuff in a room with the door shut.
