...or a Gerbil. What is best to get and where do I start?
DD1 is 3 and I am well aware I will be doing all the feeding/cleaning out.But she loves animals and is obsessed by the CM's Guinea Pig.I dont want anything that lives outside. So whats best to get, what equipment will I need for it, (cage and what not), what to feed it and where do I get it?

mine are so pampered they prob die of a good life before their time

most make it to 2/2.5 - one was 3 - a few at 1 died of a tumour

Poor hammie, blondie.

Did not mean to imply your hammies are any less pampered than mine - I reckon we are as daft as each other

I did have a Hamster myself when I was 3 or so.Which I why I was quite keen on it.However it died of some odd desease where it lost all its hair in the end So maybe not a great idea.
I think maybe will sack it off.We have the cat and the hens. She will have to be content with them.
Thanks for input though
