Does anyone have one? I have seen one today and i think they are smashing. Seemed to have a really laid back temprement which is what i liked the most. DP wants another dog and has mentioned seeing one of these before, im thinking, well.........maybe, maybe next year....will have to do my homework, they are a little on the big size

yes, they do - the dog in the remake of "the incredible journey" was an american bull dog, i have just found out - i thought it was a boxer cross.

My friend/childminder has one.

riven ive seen both, and both have me in floods of tears yes, the original was an english bull terrier, called bodger. I can't even talk about the final scene without welling up.

I had an english one as a child and it slept all day. We could do anything to it and it never murmered e,g sit and slide on it. However it was very, very aggressive to other dogs it didnt know so much so my parents never walked it. However we had a lot of land so it didnt need walking. I dont suppose it was ever castrated either.
