Me and DP went to pick our guinea pigs tonight at the breeders house. She was soooo lovely and we spent an hour there chosing them - we held loads. She had some 3 day old baby guinea pigs and we held those too - sooooo sweet!
I had already chosen a gorgeous fluffy black and orange striped piggie, and then we chose a silky orange and white one, and a long haired white one. We were only getting two originally but DP fell in love with them and just said we had to get all three. TBH I don't think he expected to like them at all so it was lovely to see him so smitten.
She will home them together until we pick them up, and so if they do fight (as boys can) she can sort things out. It should be ok because they are all still young.
I we named them Bertie (black one), Milo (orange one) and Chester (white one).

They are so lovely, I am very nervous of most animals but they were just so lovely, dead easy to hold and lovely and cuddely.
We pick them up after the wedding - which i think will be nice because it will give me something to focus on, especially as I will probably still be off work.
They look huge but they are all 10 weeks or less so still babies really.
She also sold us a massive cage for £20 v.good!
