After much deliberating we have final commited to getting some guinea pigs. I contacted a breeder and reserved this gorgeous little boy today:

We are going on Sunday to chose a friend for him and will pick them up next month (we get married inbetween and so we are away!)

Its just me and him so we get to pick the names, I don't want something relating to how he looks or matchy names (bubble and squeak etc).
Any ideas for two little boy guinea pigs!!

Ours are called Bruno, Rollo and Muffin.

saffy202 · 27/09/2008 22:17

Ours are called Rollo (though nicknamed Ratty, as he looks like a rat!) and Graham

canofworms · 27/09/2008 22:26

Ours are called Nibbles and Niall

7 year old named him Nibbles because it sounded ok not that he's ever nibbled her!

5 year old wanted to call her gp Niall so they had a name with the same starting initial but the only name she could think of was one of a boy in her class!!

We had a Bert and Ernie... I quite like Dave too!

Will people PLEASE refrain from calling their animals DAVE, its not clever and its not funny. We wanted to take on a staffy from Battersea once, but we just couldn't because he was called Dave. So is my DP, it would never have worked. The other day we were out with our dog, got chatting to another dog walker, at the end of the chat, he said "C'mon Dave, fetch your ball" FFS

snigger · 27/09/2008 23:13

Our last set were called Elvis & Dave

The current lot are all named after sweets -

Licorice, Treacle (Toffee), Fudge, and Barley (sugar).

How twee are we
