Depends where you are in the country.

I live MCR area, my kennel charges £8/day, when i lived down south they charged double, not unheard of for £20/day

The one we use charges £10 per day (it is in Herts).

£11.00 per day - Cheshire

we put our pooch in for sat - sat and got charged £130. Luckily a friend picked him up on the saturday as we'd otherwise have had to pay £20 more to collect on monday - they close on sundays and you get charged for each day/part day.

have you tried local pet sitters - we had one who was much cheaper

I pay £11 a day in Surrey for a cocker spaniel.

I rang the verts to see if they could suggest anywhere local. All were fully booked as it is short notice.

I did however get two quotes for others

1st £14.50 per day including swap over days

2nd £20 a day with no charge if dog is collected befor noon
