Hi all

Just getting round to insuring my new puppy (aaah!) & wondered if anyone had any advice? I know about lifetime policies, but otherwise am unsure which is best.

Thanks!

I found Tesco to be the cheapest for Lifetime cover this year when I did it .(Swapped from Marks and Spencer which used to be a good deal but are now rubbish!)

I've always used Direct Line pet insurance. Bit more expensive than Tesco but I think they treat a bigger range of illnesses and for a longer period of time. They don't cover dental though (but I'm not sure that many do). They were good when our last cat died - the vet sent them the bill direct and it was all settled quickly and without any paperwork for me.

We've got Argos pet insurance which is fairly good, they don't quibble and pay up quickly. The excess on our policy is £60.
