How much would it cost me roughly per month
And other than cuddles, feeding and cleaning out a hutch what else would I need to do with it?
Have been offered a baby bunny but trying to justify it to dh at the moment!

The main thing is, they poo everywhere.

Cost-wise, the bags of Excel (which the vets recommend) are about £3.50 and last a few weeks. You can use either straw and/or hay and probably want to use some sawdust in their litter tray or corner. If you're talking about a regular hutch, you won't need too much. Can't remember how much the straw and hay cost but I think around £5 a large bag - lasts a couple of weeks.

poo everywhere - well, you can train them to use a litter tray!

a good guide

Thanks
The baby bunnies won't be ready to leave home until the end of August so I have a while to think about it!

Ours costs hardly anything. He's a house bunny so it's just food really. He's gets his nails done about every six months - lucky bunny. The vet injects him with stuff when we take him in.

House bunny is cheaper as no bedding to buy.
