saw their main hutch had been blown over in the wind!

they are still in their run with a shelter in it whilst the hutch dries out a bit as the bedding area is wet and i cant refill it atm. have now positioned it against the fence to stop it blowing over again.

if they had been in the hutch they might have escaped the garden, been eaten by predators, or been left shivering exposed.

aah you are a good guinea pig owner really then!

Its funny how things are sometimes meant to happen. I bet you are glad you forgot to put them in the main hutch. For some reason you were meant to forget!

usually i put them back in their hutch every night without fail. i just was distraced last night and totally forgot they were out there (went to the cinema around the time i usually put them back).

they have a nice shelter in their run as well, its very cosy so they werent all exposed all night.
