Why does someone start six different threads asking banal questions and never come back to any of them?

Six year old guinea pig that someone was threatening to ‘release into the wild’ 🙄 he’s enjoying his twilight years in the lap of luxury

I brought an elderly hamster home with me from Pets at Home when I’d only gone in for cat litter 🙈 his owner was at the desk handing him in because her kids were bored of him, so I took him there and then! He was already 2 years old, and he had a retirement home with me for about eight months. He was the sweetest little guy!

I took on a 21 year old horse last year as a companion to my other horse. They are very happy together

Ten year old black Labrador. Such a character, loved to steal sweets, and still fancied his chances with the opposite sex despite arthritis in his back legs.
He was much loved during his three years with us.

That would probably be my Giant Galapagos Tortoise.

late MIL left a cat who was 18 years old. knew that homes would probably not take her at her age but we worried as she was not used to dogs and our dogs vice versa. as it was she was very capable of looking after herself her favourite game was sitting on the sofa arm giving the dog a swipe as he went past! she lived until she was 22 years, have her ashes here with me
