My cat has been PTS

I had to have my cat George put to sleep yesterday evening as he had been run over by a car and was too injured to survive his injuries long term.

He was 16 years old and we had him from a kitten of 12 weeks so he was a very loved member of the family. I am going to miss him so much and keep crying today at work.

I hope he is having a lovely time in cat heaven.

I just wanted to write this somewhere as my partner is not sentimental like me!

Oh I'm so sorry, that's very sad news. Sounds like you really loved George, and he had a wonderful life with you.

I’m so sorry. My cat died 5 years ago at the great age of at least 20 something. I had had him for 19 years. We still miss him.
RIP George - hope he’s chasing mice and sleeping on the warm spot of a cloud in the sun.

Rip George. I'm sure he had a wonderful life with you. He was loved his whole life.

I'm a dog person but I still feel your pain. RIP George.
