How long before pet insurance claims come through?

The vet has claimed directly for the big claim (£2361) but we had to also claim ourselves for £143 for treatment our own vet before referring to specialist. When will we hear when they are being paid? The reason Ia sk is becasue we had to pay the specialist vets a £500 deposit, which we don't get back (minus £50 excess and a £57.88 "admin" fee) until they have been paid by the insurers.
The forms were sent off about Thursday last week

Usually petplan are one of the best for turnaround and hopefully you will hear later this week all being well. Thank goodness you were insured eh!
If they were sent on Thursday they may not have been received until Saturday so the earliest they are likely to get processed would have been today and then the post has to get back out to the practice and you.
