Hi all, I'm absolutely heartbroken. My beautiful 3 year old Shih Tzuh has been diagnosed with IMT on Tuesday and we're on day 2 with no response to steroids. Her platelets are zero. I'm really struggling. We brought her home three years ago about a week before I found out I was pregnant with our twins. Sadly my twins died - one boy was stillborn and the other in the NICU, he was 3 days old. My beautuful little dog really got us through the darkest days and to see her like this is breaking my heart. She's critical at the moment and I know in my heart I have to do whats best for her based on what the vet thinks as well. I'm not sure what I'm looking for, just a cry really. I'm just broken. She went overnight from a lively happy girl to critically ill.
