Best shampoo to soothe itchy, red skin? My dog scratches a lot, but he doesn't have parasites.

My lad gets Malaseb on prescription as he’s got some flaky skin, never actually tried head and shoulders on him…would be much cheaper!

I give him a going over once of a plain dog shampoo bar, rinse, then leave the Malaseb on for a few minutes before rinsing off.

I use oatmeal dog shampoo.

Coatex, a complete game changer for my dog's sore and itchy skin.

I tried using proper dog shampoo once and it gave me dreadful itchy skin on my hands and I scratched them red raw so I put it in the bin and now I just use herbal essences on mine!

Dog shampoo flared up my eczema on my hands so I use sensitive baby wash on my pups now. It cleans them well and makes their fur really soft.

Are you sure washing him is the best idea? What does the vet say?

Bugalugs are good shampoos but if its bad you need vet advice. The allergy in our old dog was caused by excess pollen so Spring and Autumn was a trigger point so its best to find the trigger. Poppy used to have an injection Spring and Autumn and she was fine

Another that says get advice from a vet or if you know a trustworthy groomer!
