Bond with Dog

What are your best games for building a strong bond and focus with a dog that is completely food-unmotivated?

What breed?

Tug was great for my labrador, followed by nose games. Finding the gun dog dummy became his favourite.

I have a Cockapoo who is absolutely obsessed with me and I think it's mainly because I spend time with him by ourselves. It's just me and him most of the time. I have noticed our bond get stronger because I reassure him a lot. When we are out walking and he gets scared of something, I tell him it's ok and I stroke his head. I play with him a lot and I call him over for a fuss all the time. He does get a lot of attention and my Mum says she knows when I'm in the toilet coz the dog is sat outside waiting 🤣

My rottie who also couldn’t care less re food will play with a ball for hours , I tend to ‘ hide ‘ it , behind objects at home or in the park/ fields or tuck it in my clothing and tell him to ‘find it ‘, to save his legs with constant chasing of it , although we do play a bit of fetch too .
Engaging their brain is just as important as physical exercise

I’m going to push back on that just a tiny bit OP. All dogs are food motivated to an extent for their survival.
id look first at how/when and what he is fed for meals to see if there are any appropriate tweaks to improve it
