Labrador boots

Our very elderly lab is dragging one of her paws and it’s rubbing it raw. We have tried several boots now and they all seem to come off or be too tight in her toes. Can anyone recommend some that will actually stay on for a slow 30-40 minute walk/potter and sniff.

When our lab had a spinal injury and she was knuckling the vet recommended silicone socks. They come in packs of 12 and are called Pawz. We used a boot most of the time but it rarely stayed on long enough for a decent walk. Fortunately she recovered well and the sores healed. She has recently slipped a disc and struggles with slippy floors. I’ve given up with socks and bought carpet runners that she walks happily on. She has a real aversion to the tiled kitchen floor so it’s now covered with large mats.

We use these for our elderly retriever for same reason.
