Cat rehoming

Hello!,

I'm looking for some advice. My ex-partner has relocated and left behind five cats, which she was supposed to re-home three of them but hasn't. We are in the process of selling the family home, and I am moving into rented, and I have agreed to take two, and simply can't accomodate all five.

I've tried reaching out to some local rescue centres in Warwickshire, but haven't had any success yet. Does anyone have any ideas on what else I can do?

Thanks
Tim

Sorry this is happening. I think you have to just keep reaching out to rescues.
There some places that do home to home rehoming, you might be able to get something like that if the rescues are full.
Where I am, there are people who help with fostering, these people would all be vetted and approved, you could maybe ask around if there is anything like that in your area.
Obviously don't advertise them on Facebook or give away without rigorous checks.

Cats Protection have been amazing and have been willing to accept all three.

I'm not sure why I had to deal with this, and the guilt of giving them up. Thank you @yorkshiretoffee for responding!
