What?! What the hell are dog wraps?!

But anyway, no. You need to take them for walks / let them into the garden. We have two male dogs and not once have they ever been to the toilet in the house.

We do walk them twice a day one of those being a good run off lead . They can also come and go into the garden we are home almost everyday . However the eldest dog cavachon who is only four started marking when we got the second dog now two .

You need advice from a vet and/or a behaviourist. There's something at the basis of this (either a health or behaviour issue) which can almost certainly be remedied.

Wearing a wrap/nappy isn't a long term solution, it's not right or healthy for the dog and won't solve the problem.

There is a lot of advice on line about scent marking due to introduction of a second dog.

Thank you I have read articles on line and that is where I read about these bands . I must admit I did not think they look a good idea but wondered if others have tried. I think your advise about a behaviourist is a good idea our second little dog is a street rescue. We have had him for a year now he is settling but can still be a little jumpy . They are both very loved and well cared for. In fact I smiled at the first post suggesting they don’t get walked could not be further from the life they have . we just don’t seem to get past the peeing from the older dog which did not happen before dog two come along . I just read when walking to let them empty their bladder but to deter marking pee by gently moving on and not making a fuss I’m going to try that from now on

Male dog wraps can be helpful as a temporary solution to manage urine marking indoors, especially while you’re working on the underlying behavior. They prevent messes and protect flooring, but they don’t address the root cause of marking, which can be stress, territorial behavior, or lack of proper training.
Along with using wraps, it’s important to focus on consistent training, routine walks, and keeping indoor and outdoor areas clean. Odors left behind can trigger repeat marking, so thorough cleanup is key. Using professional services like Fido House Pet Waste Solutions can help maintain a cleaner environment, reduce lingering scents, and support better behavior management while you work on long-term solutions for your
