I never have, but should I have done? I spoke to someone at work today who gave their dog walker a voucher. I’m feeling a bit guilty!
I’m a teacher! I received Xmas gifts from approx 1/3 of my class, I always buy my child’s teacher and sports coach a Xmas gift!

I get mine a bottle of wine. My dog is walked once a week and goes to hers for boarding when I'm away.

I gave mine a week’s wage in cash as a tip in a card - but that’s because she is great with my reactive dog, is flexible to our schedule, and is just a lovely person to boot

So long as you pay them their fees on time its totally up to you.
Dont feel bad. Will get responses from no nothing ok to a months fees and a week in the Maldives

I’m a dog walker and would say that 90% of my clients get me something - either a cash tip, chocolates/wine or a small gift - candles, socks, hand cream, hats etc. are all very common!

That said it’s absolutely fine if people don’t get anything and I’d never except a gift from anyone. It is lovely when it happens though!
