dds new guinea pigs are settling in really well dh finally finished the run he was making for them at the weekend and they've started going in it. This morning when I sat in with them they both ran up to me squeaking their little heads off and did their best to hide under my leg. They are so cuddly and friendly for such young piggies. When ever I pick up one the other gets really upset at being separated and they seem to spend half their lives looking for each other (I think they might be a bit thick)
Ok finished gushing about them

I love giggly pigs, what have you named them?

OhYouBadBadKitten · 11/06/2008 20:48

dd named them so don't blame me!
She sat with them on my lap and her astronomy book in front of her and called them....
Cassiopeia
Titania.

poor piggies.

Is Dd into astronomy?
I am . Guinea pigs are such lovely pets. They are thick though, as yo uhave spotted, lol!

Just re-read that post where astronomy is mentioned.

Clearly i like piggies because I can relate to their stupidity, lol!

i do love guinea pigs. the perfect pet.

you will have to give lots of daily attention to carry on with that level of affection from them but it is so worthwhile.

when i was 6 my first gp would follow me across parks, everywhere. never did get that friendly with any of the subsequent ones.

Threadwormm · 11/06/2008 20:54

Ours were really shy when we first got them, though not any longer. Yours must be mega-confident, sociable ones. Enjoy! They are brilliant pets.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 11/06/2008 20:56

dd is into astronomy nickytwotimes. They are really sweet these two - her last ones took a lot longer to become really friendly.

I'll ask her dizzy if you like tomorrow but I warn you shes also got a thing about WW2 at moment as well so you might end up with 'Anderson' or 'doodlebug' you can never tell with her!

Anderson and Doodlebug would be perfect GP names.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 11/06/2008 21:15

They would be wouldnt they - a lot less poncey than the ones they've ended up with!

awwww fishie - thats sweet I will keep up the attention - its a really good excuse to sit down and relax a bit.
